Two books which were produced to celebrate the commissioning into the Royal Navy of two new survey ships. The books contained information about previous named vessels in the RN and information about the responsibilities of the various departments within the ship. The books were both A4 landscape and had 64 pages of text. They had foil embossed hard cases and dust jackets. We visited HMS Echo and had a tour, taking some photographs whilst on board. We photographed both paintings for the dust jackets, designed the grid for the page layouts and created graphics and illustrations as well as laying out the copy and dealing with the printers. The books were well received by all.
