Peter Poland Design, established in 1994 has been involved in a revolution in both the worlds of design and business.
Design has seen monumental changes in the range of media available to extol the virtues of a brand, the internet and in particular the world wide web has given opportunity to almost everyone, regardless of size, to create a professional online presence for a relatively small outlay.
Peter Poland started his career using traditional design and illustration techniques to create corporate identities and other designs. Utilising those traditional skills, and modern technology, he began designing websites in 1994. He won an award from an American hosting organisation which led to a contract with Xerox to create sites for their internal global network. This gave Poland an insight into another revolution, digital print. Digital printing and developments in the traditional printing industry have meant that designers no longer have the luxury of long print deadlines, jobs which formerly took weeks can be turned around in days.
